Symposium Title: "The Future of Learning: Critical Perspectives on Higher Education in the Digital Age".

This interdisciplinary symposium will be of interest to students, teachers, researchers, support staff and policy-makers working in the field of education in general and technology-enhanced learning in particular. Following previous successful events in 2015 with Professor James Paul Gee on digital-game based learning, 2014 with Professor Regine Hampel on online and distance learning, and our 2013 event on "MOOCs in the Arts and Humanities" with Sir John Daniel and Professor Tony McEnery, this year's symposium addresses a range of topics of current interest across higher education and learning, including gamification, social networking, learning analytics and the future of online learning.

Professor Jozef Colpaert (Antwerp University, NZ)
